Sustainability Guidelines
Our Sustainability Guidelines establish a single, core framework for addressing social issues, including the environment, human rights and labor, health and safety, and fair trade, across our entire supply chain.
Sustainability Promotion Structure
The Board of Directors is responsible for discussing and overseeing the establishment and development of a sustainability promotion system within the executive organization, including deliberating on material sustainability issues in the medium-to-long term. Under the oversight of the Board of Directors, a sustainability promotion structure has been established within the executive organization led by the President. Based on our approach to sustainability, we have established the Sustainability Committee and the Sustainability Promotion Office to advance and ensure the implementation of our sustainability activities. Chaired by the operating officer in charge of sustainability, the Sustainability Committee is responsible for identifying and assessing risks and opportunities related to sustainability, determining material issues, and formulating relevant indicators and targets. The Sustainability Promotion Office, guided by the deliberations of the Board of Directors and the Sustainability Committee, drives the activities across the entire Soken Group.
